Self-hosted alternatives to Brevo

Brevo, formerly Sendinblue, is a hosted platform for email and SMS marketing, CRM and workflow automation that also sends transactional email. One listed app does its main job and runs in your own Cloudflare account.

What a Brevo user would miss
It has no campaign editor, SMS, SMTP relay or outbound webhooks.
What it adds
API keys can be limited to chosen domains and come as test or live keys, and the same project adds a shared team inbox.
  • Yes Transactional email through an API. POST /v1/send with an API key, an Idempotency-Key header and rate limiting.
  • No SMTP relay. No SMTP service in the source or docs.
  • No Email campaigns with an editor. No broadcast campaigns or newsletter editor listed.
  • Partly Marketing automation workflows. Outbound email sequences with timed steps in the inbox Worker.
  • Partly Contact lists and CRM. Contact lists and contact records scoped by inbox address, no CRM pipeline.
  • No SMS. Email only.
  • Partly Webhooks and activity logs. Send logs and stats, no outbound webhooks.
