Libsyn (Liberated Syndication) is a hosted podcast hosting platform for publishing audio and video episodes, distributing them to listening apps and tracking downloads. One listed app does its main job and runs in your own Cloudflare account.

Independent podcasters who need media hosting, an RSS feed and a show website, and who handle directory submissions and statistics through other services.
What a Libsyn user would miss
It has no scheduled releases, one-click directory delivery, built-in statistics, embeddable player, ad tools or extra users.
What it adds
The same items appear as a podcast feed, a JSON Feed and a themeable website, with transcripts, chapters, hosts and guests in the feed, and an API, signed webhooks and a CLI are included.
  • Yes Audio and video hosting with an RSS feed. Audio and video uploaded to R2 and served as RSS enclosures.
  • No Scheduled episode releases. An item goes live when its status is set to Published; no scheduled release found.
  • Partly One-click distribution to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube and other platforms. The feed works in any podcast app and Subscribe methods can list directory links, but the feed URL is submitted by hand.
  • Partly IAB-certified download analytics. OP3 or Podtrac tracking URLs can prefix media links; no built-in statistics or certification.

  • No Embeddable players with custom colors and size. Item pages use the browser's audio and video player; no embed code found.

  • No Extra users on each podcast. The built-in login holds a single administrator; no collaborator roles found.
