Self-hosted alternatives to Tuta

Tuta, formerly Tutanota, is an email, calendar and contacts service that encrypts data end to end and works with custom domains. One listed app does its main job and runs in your own Cloudflare account.

Each answer comes from the app’s README and source code, compared with the features Tuta describes on its own site.

  • Mailflare inbox under a custom brand name, with an open message and the compose window

Self-hosted webmail for your own domains, with routing rules, a calendar and an AI assistant whose drafts need approval
