Cloud Mail

Cloud Mail creates multiple mailboxes on one domain that uses Cloudflare. Incoming mail reaches a Worker through Email Routing, and admins set what each user can do with role-based permissions.

With the domain's Email Routing catch-all pointed at the Worker, every address on that domain can receive mail. Users create mailboxes in a Vue web app that adapts to desktop and most mobile browsers, read and reply to messages, and send or download attachments. Admins manage users and all mail, and ECharts dashboards chart user and mail growth. Workers AI picks verification codes out of incoming messages. Received mail can be pushed to a Telegram bot or forwarded to another provider, and Turnstile blocks automated sign-ups. An open API creates users in bulk and queries mail by several conditions. Admins can also change the site title, the login background and its transparency. The backend is a single Hono Worker using Drizzle ORM on D1. KV holds cache data, and attachments can be stored in KV, an R2 bucket or another S3-compatible store. The Worker serves the frontend as static assets and runs an hourly cron job for cleanup and statistics. Besides the GitHub Actions workflow, which can create the D1 database and KV namespace, the docs cover importing the repository in the Workers dashboard and deploying from the command line.

Deploy

  Fork the repository, add CLOUDFLARE_API_TOKEN, CLOUDFLARE_ACCOUNT_ID, CUSTOM_DOMAIN, DOMAIN, ADMIN and JWT_SECRET as Actions secrets, and run the deploy workflow. Then add an Email Routing catch-all rule that sends mail to the Worker.

The Actions workflow initializes the database itself. Dashboard and command-line installs need one visit to /api/init/<jwt_secret> afterwards, and the admin account is then registered with the configured admin email.

Good to know

Sending mail needs a Resend account with a verified domain, unless Cloudflare Email Sending is set up through the send_email binding. The main README, the repository screenshots and the community channels are mostly Chinese; an English README and English deployment guide exist.
