Self-hosted alternatives to Proton Pass

Proton Pass is an end-to-end encrypted, open source password manager from Proton for storing logins, passkeys, cards and notes. One listed app does its main job and runs in your own Cloudflare account.

It has no email aliases, shared vaults or emergency access.

  • No Hide-my-email aliases. Not offered.
  • Yes Built-in 2FA authenticator. TOTP codes in the vault.
  • Partly Vault sharing and secure link sharing. Send links; no shared vaults.
  • No Emergency access. Not implemented.
