Self-hosted alternatives to Status.io

Status.io is a hosted status page service for communicating incidents and scheduled maintenance, with metrics, custom domains and subscriber notifications. One listed app does its main job and runs in your own Cloudflare account.

Each answer comes from the app’s README and source code, compared with the features Status.io describes on its own site.

  • Uptimer public status page with website and server monitors, 60-day availability bars and latency of the last 60 checks

Uptime monitor and status page with HTTP and TCP checks, incidents and webhook alerts, on Workers, Pages and D1

Uptime monitor and status page with HTTP and TCP checks, incidents and webhook alerts, on Workers, Pages and D1

What a Status.io user would miss
It has no subscriber notifications, custom domain/CSS and SSO/IP restricted pages, and covers external metric sources and a write API only in part.
What it adds
It also has signed, templated webhook messages, CSV export of uptime history and a status page in five languages.
  • Yes Hosted status page with components and 90-day uptime history. Public page with aggregate status, monitor groups and per-monitor uptime.
  • Yes Incident updates posted from a dashboard. Incidents with investigating, identified, monitoring and resolved states and a timeline of updates.
  • Yes Scheduled maintenance announcements. Scheduled maintenance windows shown on the page.
  • No Subscribers by email, SMS, webhook, RSS, iCalendar, IRC, Teams, Slack and X. Webhook channels notify the operator; visitors cannot subscribe.
  • No Custom domain and full design customization with CSS, HTML and JavaScript. No domain setting in the app.
  • Partly Metrics charts from a custom metrics API or New Relic and Pingdom. Latency charts from its own checks; no external metric sources.
  • No Private pages with SSO or IP access control. The status page is public.
  • Partly Developer API and public status API. Public JSON status endpoint and webhook notifications; no other integrations found.
