Self-hosted alternatives to WeTransfer

WeTransfer is a web service for sending files to other people by download link or email. Two listed apps do its main job and run in your own Cloudflare account.

Each answer comes from the app’s README and source code, compared with the features WeTransfer describes on its own site.

What a WeTransfer user would miss
It cannot email the link, and the sender must sign in as admin or use an API key.
What it adds
It stores files on R2, B2, S3, OneDrive or WebDAV and also holds Markdown pastes.

Files can also live on as a team drive with quotas and a WebDAV mount.
