Self-hosted alternatives to Termius

Termius is an SSH client for Mac, Windows, Linux, iOS and Android with saved hosts, SFTP, snippets and encrypted team vaults. Two listed apps do its main job and run in your own Cloudflare account.

Each answer comes from the app’s README and source code, compared with the features Termius describes on its own site.

Browser-based SSH workspace with terminal tabs, SFTP and server monitoring, running on Cloudflare Workers

What a Termius user would miss
Port forwarding, jump hosts, per-person vaults and native desktop or mobile apps.
What it adds
It adds a draggable dashboard with live CPU, memory, disk, network and process panels, and a Docker image that runs the same app outside Cloudflare.
  • Yes SSH terminal with several sessions in tabs. Xterm.js terminals with several tabs per server.
  • Yes Saved hosts organized in groups with saved credentials. Server list as a group tree with password and private key authentication.
  • Yes SFTP file transfer. SFTP browser with upload, download and an editor for files up to 2 MB.
  • Yes Saved command snippets. Quick commands that run in the current session or all sessions.
  • Partly SSH key and credential storage. Vault of saved passwords and private keys for reuse; stored in D1 and encryption at rest is not documented.
  • No Port forwarding. Not listed.
  • Partly Hosts synced across devices. Servers live in D1, so any browser behind the login sees them; not end-to-end synced.
  • Partly Team vaults for sharing hosts and keys. With Cloudflare Access every signed-in user shares one server list; no separate vaults or roles.

Browser SSH client that runs in a Cloudflare Worker, with SFTP, jump hosts and a bring-your-own-key AI assistant

What a Termius user would miss
Port forwarding, a key generator, shared team vaults and native desktop or mobile apps.
What it adds
It chains up to three jump hosts, reaches private hosts through Cloudflare Tunnel, creates one-time audited share links, and has an AI agent panel that uses your own API key.
  • Yes SSH terminal with several sessions in tabs. Xterm.js terminal with multiple tabs, search and log export.
  • Yes Saved hosts organized in groups with saved credentials. Signed-in users save servers with AES-256-GCM encrypted credentials, tags and search.
  • Yes SFTP file transfer. Graphical SFTP manager with uploads, downloads and in-browser editing.
  • Yes Saved command snippets. Slide-over snippet drawer with categories and search.
  • Partly SSH key and credential storage. Password, Ed25519, ECDSA and RSA key authentication saved with each server; no key generator or separate keychain.
  • No Port forwarding. Jump hosts and Cloudflare Tunnel are supported, port forwarding is not listed.
  • Partly Hosts synced across devices. Saved servers sit with the signed-in user on the Worker, so any browser sees them; not end-to-end synced.
  • No Team vaults for sharing hosts and keys. Data is per user; one-time share links give a single audited session.
