RenewHelper

Renewal reminders for domains, servers and SaaS plans, with lunar calendar cycles and a spending dashboard

RenewHelper service list with totals, tag filters, prices, next due countdowns and renewal cycles

RenewHelper sends its reminders through Telegram, ntfy, Gotify, Bark, Resend email, webhooks or several Chinese chat and push services. A Cron Trigger checks every item twice an hour, and all data sits in one KV namespace in your account.

RenewHelper calculates each item's next due date by day, month or year, and can follow lunar calendar cycles between 1900 and 2100. Every item uses one of three modes: cycle subscription, expiration reset or fixed repeat. When an item comes due, the app can roll its due date forward by one cycle, or mark it disabled after it has been overdue for a set number of days. Reminder channels are set per item, and batch actions assign them to many items at once. Each item also sets how many days ahead to notify and at which times of day. A spending dashboard charts the past 12 months and the last three years, converts currencies at current exchange rates, and separates each bill amount from the actual cost recorded in renewal history. Upcoming renewals appear in a calendar view and in an .ics feed for iOS Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook. The Vue 3 and Element Plus interface has dark and light themes and switches between English and Chinese. The whole app is a single Worker script, _worker.js. Login uses JWT sessions, and the Worker rate-limits login attempts in memory and in KV. Besides the Deploy to Cloudflare button, the README covers pasting _worker.js into the dashboard editor, a GitHub Actions workflow that redeploys after each Sync fork, and a Docker image that runs the same code under Miniflare.

Built for: Solo founders, freelancers and small teams who pay for many domains, servers and SaaS subscriptions and want a reminder before each renewal.

What you can use it for

  • Track domain, VPS and SaaS renewal dates in one list
  • Get renewal reminders in Telegram, ntfy, Gotify, email or a webhook
  • Chart monthly and yearly subscription spending across currencies
  • See upcoming renewals in iOS Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook through an .ics feed

Put the printed namespace ID into wrangler.toml and change AUTH_PASSWORD there from admin before running npm run deploy.

    npm install
npx wrangler kv namespace create RENEW_KV
    npm run deploy

The button creates the Worker and KV namespace. Change AUTH_PASSWORD from admin, then set your time zone and notification channels in the settings panel.

What it needs to run

  • KV namespacesRENEW_KV

Also uses

  • Resend (optional): Sends reminder emails through the Resend API

Good to know

The KV binding must be named RENEW_KV, and the cron schedule must stay 0,30 * * * *. The main README and many notification channels target Chinese users, although an English README and English UI are available. The last release, v3.8.4, shipped in April 2026.

Cost on Cloudflare

Likely fits the free plan

The Worker uses one KV namespace and one Cron Trigger that fires 48 times a day. Workers Free includes 100,000 KV reads and 1,000 KV writes per day and five Cron Triggers per account. The README says the free tier is usually enough for personal use.

Source

The estimate is based on Cloudflare’s documented limits and the app’s configuration. What you pay depends on your usage and plan.
