Traks
Cookie-free website analytics with live visitors and history in R2, installed into your account by a web wizard
Traks site dashboard with visitors, pageviews, bounce rate, a 30-day visitor chart and top pages
One t.js tag sends pageviews to a collect Worker that counts visitors with a daily-rotating hash instead of cookies and never stores raw IP addresses. Traks answers today's numbers and live visitors from per-site Durable Objects and keeps history as Apache Iceberg tables in R2, queried with R2 SQL.
Traks writes every event twice. The per-site Durable Object keeps a rolling window of about 48 hours and pushes live visitors, pages, referrers and city-level map points to the dashboard over a WebSocket. A Pipelines stream delivers the same events to an Iceberg table in R2 Data Catalog, which serves 7-day to all-time reports through R2 SQL, with results cached in KV. The collect Worker checks the site key, filters bots and classifies AI agent traffic separately from human visits. Its visitor hash combines IP address, user agent and site key under a secret that rotates daily. Sign-in uses Better Auth on D1, and the dashboard, world map included, calls no third parties. MCP and WebMCP tools expose the analytics to AI agents. Instead of a Deploy to Cloudflare button, the maintainer runs an installer at traks.dev/deploy. You sign in with Cloudflare, approve the listed permissions, paste one R2 storage token created from a pre-filled link and name the instance. In about two minutes the wizard provisions two Workers, D1, KV, an R2 bucket with Data Catalog and the Pipelines resources in your account, and you claim the owner account through a one-time link. Update and removal pages work the same way, and the installer keeps no record of your instance.
Built for: Site owners, indie founders and small product teams who want privacy-friendly web analytics in their own Cloudflare account.
What you can use it for
- Measure website traffic without cookies
- Watch current visitors, pages and referrers live
- Compare traffic over 7, 30 and 90 days or a year
- Separate bot and AI agent traffic from human visits
- Let AI agents query site analytics over MCP

requires Workers Paid
Official installer run by the maintainer: sign in with Cloudflare, paste one R2 storage token, and it provisions the Workers, D1, KV, R2 and Pipelines resources in your account.
The traks.dev wizard handles provisioning after a Cloudflare sign-in and one pasted R2 storage token. You then claim the owner account and add the script tag to your site.
Good to know
Pipelines, R2 Data Catalog and R2 SQL are still in open beta. Sign-in is email and password only, and the instance sends no email, so password recovery means deleting the owner's account row in D1 and claiming the instance again. One Durable Object per site caps sustained ingest at roughly 150 to 250 pageviews per second for that site, per the README. Pipelines beta limits allow 20 streams per account, and each instance uses one. The edge Cache API works only on custom domains, so workers.dev installs rely on the KV cache.
Cost on Cloudflare
Paid Cloudflare plan required
The Traks README says everything runs inside a Workers Paid plan ($5 per month). Pipelines, R2 Data Catalog and R2 SQL each add a monthly allowance on Workers Paid, such as 10 GB of R2 SQL data scanned. The README estimates about $5 per month at 100,000 pageviews and about $7 at 5 million.
The estimate is based on Cloudflare’s documented limits and the app’s configuration. What you pay depends on your usage and plan.
